Meet the Cove Guardians and our Sea Shepherd Seattle Chapter!

Sea Shepherd now has a Seattle Chapter! Join us for the launch of our new chapter, meet the volunteers and organizers, help us raise funds for Sea Shepherd, and meet some of our dedicated field volunteers, the Cove Guardians, who are back from six months of campaigning for dolphins in the infamous Cove in Taiji, Japan.

The Cove Guardians brought us daily updates, news, videos, stories, and images from the town with a terrible secret. Come meet Scott West (Campaign Coordinator), Elora Malama West, Libby Miller, Rex Ray, and other Cove Guardians!

The evening will include presentations from some of the Cove Guardians, a slide show, a dessert bar, silent and live auctions, a raffle, and a photo booth. You can also sign up for future volunteer training, chapter activities, and much more!

  1. Awesome…I am not in WA, but congrats on the new chapter!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!!!!xoxoxoxox

  2. I’d be there in a heartbeat if I still lived in WA state! Have a great time, I hear Trevor and his family will be there (Let Lolita Live). Sounds like a great group of people will be together!!! I look forward to the update/photos of the event! Thank you Elora! 🙂
P.S. ~Wish you guys could be down here near San Francisco for the benefit screening of “The Cove” with Ric and Louie! (My family and I will be there for that one in June)

  3. I live all the way in Georgia, and cannot afford a plane ticket right now. This really stinks, a chance to meet some of my heroes and I cannot. I hope that you all can come to georgia, or near here so I could meet you all. I followed every single day, the guardian reports, as well as Elora’s blog from day one to the end. My heart is deeply invested in this cause. I wish I could meet Ric as well, I love that man and have always wanted to meet him too. Good luck to the Seattle chapter, I wish you the best!
