Cream Corn Pizza~

Remember those GIANT rain falls we filmed the last time we went to our favorite log cabin cafe? The pictures above shows what the really big one we spent a lot of time at, looks like when it is calm. You can really see the difference! So cool!— Oh! And Ron spotted a Beehive!

This morning I stayed in bed again. I didn’t want to, but I was up almost all night coughing I really had no choice but to sleep a little longer. My dad went to check on the Cove, no dolphins today! The weather report is bad (good) till Thursday. So that is really good news!

The gang went and got some breakfast, my dad brought me back a egg and veggie sandwich for breakfast. But it wasn’t long until we were on the road to our favorite log cabin cafe for lunch! We left at about twelve thirty. It was another beautiful drive! And we stopped at that one waterfall that goes CRAZY during a rain storm. It is a amazing difference. The bridge is scary though, it is a old road and it has holes and cut offs everywhere, sitting right over this pool of water rushing to the stream down the hill. So we don’t stay on it for very long, haha.

Today I had the Cream Corn Pizza. It is SO GOOD! I can’t describe it very well. It’s like creamed corn with veggies on bread. Haha! There we go. They didn’t have the awesome banana pie thing, but they had this cream and nut pie instead. It’s for sure my go to if they don’t have the banana thing again. πŸ™‚

Well, it is getting late. I should get to sleep because I want to be able to get up tomorrow morning!

  1. Hey Elora so glad to here there’s no dolphins in the cove today! I had the pleasure of seeing Ric O’Barry speak in Berkeley, Ca yesterday and it was amazing. I was so glad to hear the optimism in his voice that this will end in Taiji, maybe not today or tomorrow but thanks to you and the many others out there like us who share this passion the world is finally finding out the secret in Taiji. Well best wishes and I hope you feel better soon.

  2. Oh god that nest is huge D8 The falls are amazing though! Glad to hear the bad streak of weather is still keeping up. πŸ™‚

  3. Hi everyone:)

Here’s the link to a great video from Cape Town connected with the recent worldwide rally on 10/14:

Please watch, it is really in your face and the audio is really moving!

    A “Goldfish Shit”

  4. Does anyone have a copy (able to download) of the three episodes of “Blood Dolphins” that aired on animal planet around the same time they aired “The Cove”?
    Thanks,

  5. TO ALL –
    FYI,
The Humane Society Youth Program (teens@humanesociety.org) is recognizing teenagers who have made significant contributions to animal protection for 2010. I thought Elora would be an excellent nominee! Check the email listed above for this years form.

  6. I have a question. The Japanese Government is issuing the slaughter. They have a surplus of meat so who’s what country is buying the meat?

That’s who we need to focus on as well.

  7. I also think we need to focus educating people, starting with the “average” individual walking down the street in Japan & asking them “Are they aware of what their government is allowing to occur to dolphins in Taiji” and showing them a video clip. Most of them, I’m sure aren’t even aware!
Glad to hear your feeling better Elora.
