Bad day.

About nineteen or twenty Dolphins have been driven into the Cove today. More updates later, we don’t know if some oh them will be bought and the rest released or if they will be slaughtered.

Not exactly what I wanted to wake up to today.

For the Animals,

  1. Maybe if enough people ring japanese friends and business people the japenese friends can stop this bad thing… comeon people lets stop this

  2. Everyone in the US please please call the Japanese Embassy today at 202-238-670. Ask for Mr. Nakatsuka, 1st Secretary. I called today and demanded to speak to him instead of being transferred to a voice mail. He actually argued the point with me saying that the US is whaling in Alaska but I stood my ground. I was very polite and insisted that he take my name even though at first he didn’t care too. Please be ready to defend your cause with facts. Let him know that the world is watching on a daily basis. Demand that they free the dolphins caught today! He was quite surprised that I knew to ask for him. Imagine how surprised he’ll be if he gets tons of calls. Let him know this will not go away.

      • Thank you Marysia for that information! I actually posted it on my FB page as my status, I hope you don’t mind. I did give you credit for all you said and I hope Mr. Nakatsuka does indeed get alot of ‘educated’ phone calls. I have a feeling he will. Hang in there Elora!

    • Esther,
Please pass it on!! I actually got this info from someone’s Facebook page. Thank you for reading.

  3. I really wish I could go to Taiji and help you guys…but I am in college. I have loved dolphins since i was a little girl. Hopefully the slaughter will end in the near future, but if it doesn’t I plan on giving Taiji a visit after I’m finished with college. 🙂

  4. Rambo, I am Matthews mom. I have been thinking about what to say to you for a couple of weeks and haven’t come up with anything good. So here goes. I think it’s wonderful what you feel and think about saving the life of the dolphins and whales. Matthew in his own way has me thinking in ways that I haven’t thought of. I think it is wonderful. I am too old and to set in my ways to do what he is doing, but I am behind him 100%. Thank you , and please thank your father so being so wonderful to him. I am talking to anyone and everyone about your fight to save the dolphins, and I will continue to fight in the ways I can. Take care of yourself and your father.

  5. Let’s hope there is no slaughter of any Dolphins. Even if there is don’t give up, you are an inspiration to us all.

  6. Thank you sweetie for all you do. Wanted to let you know that we are trying on our end here in the U.S. to get the word out. You are Not alone. Everyone, please make an effort to contact Japanese consulates and the embassy. It only takes a minute. It can help! Please call or write today, before it is too late.

Please email the Japanese Consulate – the site is sluggish – I’m hoping that it means many others are doing the same! These animals have No voice,… but We DO! Let’s make a difference! One message at a time … let them know the rest of the world is watching and WE CARE About these Defenseless and Innocent Animals!
